VW T5 Transporter
The Volkswagen VW T5, introduced in 2002 and produced until 2015, marked a significant chapter in the evolution of Volkswagen’s renowned Transporter series. Unveiled on October 6th, 2002, with full-scale production commencing on April 25th, 2003, the T5 epitomized innovation, versatility, and practicality in the commercial vehicle segment. Despite the many iterations of the T5, Volkswagen released four standard models, including the Caravelle, Transporter, California, and Minivan, each featuring new technology such as DCT and advanced gearboxes, along with 4motion 4WD capabilities. These updated models also introduced Bi-Xenon Headlights and touchscreen radios with built-in GPS, enhancing both performance and convenience. Notably, Volkswagen celebrated the T5’s 25th anniversary with the Edition 25 Multivan, featuring exclusive design elements and color options. With its diverse range of body types, factory variants, and special editions, the T5 Transporter continued to captivate drivers with its versatility, style, and reliability, leaving an indelible mark on the commercial vehicle landscape.
