**NCA** Splitscreen Bus Adjustable Spring Plates - With Straight Axle Conversion - 1" Drop

These adjustable spring plates are for use on all VW Splitscreen Buses that have had a straight axle conversion installed using modified Beetle axle tubes.  This is the most common straight axle conversion kit available that DOES NOT use adaptor plates bolted to the end of the Spring Plate.

These adjustable spring plates feature a 1″ drop over standard spring plates.

PLEASE NOTE: When installing a Straight Axle Conversion Kit onto your Splitscreen Bus it automatically lowers the rear of your Bus around 2-3″ from standard.  These spring plates will lower the bus a further 1″.

Adjustable spring plates are a must for Straight Axle conversions. Just try changing your rear wheel at the side of the road with standard springplates – Good Luck!!!

Supplied with inner and outer torsion bar grommets.

• Zinc passivated

Note on the Finish

The finish is black zinc passivate.

This is a rust preventative finish which is ideal as a paint undercoat.

Fitted as is they will corrode eventually going a powder white colour, which is the zinc corroding and is to be expected.
