Beetle Adjustable Spring Plates - 1948-52 - 1" Drop

These adjustable spring plates can be mounted onto all Beetles from 1948 to 1952.

Sold in pairs these spring plates have been designed and manufactured here in the UK.

Features include:

• Manufactured with a 1″ drop built into them.  By bolting these plates on they will automatically lower the rear of your car by 1″ without turning the splines, allowing a further adjustment of up to 2 and half inches, lowering the rear of the Beetle by up to 3 and a half inches in total.
• Manufactured slightly longer than the standard plate allowing you to lower the rear of your car and still be able to get the correct wheel alignment and geometry.
• Fully adjustable spring plate allowing you to level the rear of your car up equally.
• Supplied complete with torsion arm grommets (please note that slight modification may be required to the grommet when installing on your Pre 1960 VW).
• Manufactured in the UK

Note on the Finish

The finish is black zinc passivate.

This is a rust preventative finish which is ideal as a paint undercoat.

Fitted as is they will corrode eventually going a powder white colour, which is the zinc corroding and is to be expected.
