Almost everyone owning an aircooled Volkswagen Type 1 engine with dual carbs and cross bar linkage, knows the problem. More often than not the accelerator cable gets bent when connected to the linkage. The reason for this is due to badly constructed crossbar linkages, manifolds that are the wrong size for the linkage and/or an aftermarket fan housing with a hole for the accelerator cable tube in the wrong place
This problem can easily be solved with the Cagero accelerator cable tube and guide roller
The tube is made out of Aluminum and features a brass roller and a needle bearing on one side and a plastic grommet on the other side to protect the cable. With that the gas cable is guided perfectly
The black anodized tube has to be mounted with a tapping screw (included) and therefor you have to drill a 3 mm hole in the fan housing
