Pertronix Flamethrower 3 coil in black for 12 Volt vehicles.

Flamethrower 3 coils are an uprated 45,000 volt, perfect for use with Pertronix electronic ignition (Ignitor 3 only) and Pertronix Flamethrower 8mm HT Leads

These coils are designed for high rpm vehicles giving maximum spark energy when needed, charging to peak current 30% – 70% faster than most coils.

Also suitable for most CDI or capactor discharge igntion, like Pertronix`s Second Strike, see part number AC998500

It`s higher voltage allows for larger spark plug gaps for added power, smoother response and better fuel economy.

Please Note: These are not backwards compatible and cannot be used with Pertronix Ignitor 1 or 2 electronic ignition as they will overload an Ignitor 1 and 2 and cause them to fail instantly.
