Beetle Brake Drum Kit (Plain, No Stud Pattern) - 1966-79

This custom brake drum is designed to replace those originally fitted to 4 stud Beetles from August 1966 onwards.

They have a no stud pattern drilled into them allowing you to drill your own holes to suit the PCD of your aftermarket wheel without the use of wheel adapters.

Fits all Beetles except 1302 and 1303 models

NOTE: Make sure you use the right wheel bearings.  The front hub seal is different on 1966 to 1968 models.

PLEASE NOTE:  The wheel spigot is still retained on these disc which may interfer with bolting an aftermarket wheel on.  Spacers therefore may be required.

Fitting: Although we sell brake drums separately we always recommend that you change them in pairs so that you do not suffer from uneven braking

Fitment: Clean the inner shoe surface before installation with a brake cleaner as they are coated at manufacture with an anti oxidising oil
