EMPI Single Quiet Pack exhaust system to fit all year and model Type 3.

Designed to clear the engine fan house and has the correct angle to line up with the rear bodywork.

Measurements: 35mm ID header pipe

Quality: Reproduction

EMPI headers and mufflers are coated with a layer of paint which acts as a rust inhibitor and may burn off once they get hot. It is best to clean off the coating with a good solvent then paint the system with quality hi-temp paint. Systems are not warranted against rust.

Hi, I'd like to know if the flange is in the centre of the system, reason for the question is I'd want to cut the muffler at the flange and flip it 180 degrees so it exits my car on the near side where the exit is on my appron.. Can you help answer this please. Thanks

Yes the flange is in the centre.

I think I have a quiet pack exhaust fitted to my 1971 type 3 fastback. My exhaust outlet comes out of the nsr (passenger side) rear valance. Is this exhaust swappable for either side fitment. I have a hole in my back box and need to replace it. Many thanks Craig.

The back box on this exhaust only fits to exit out of the right hand side due to the way that the flange is welded on.
