EMPI Single Glass Pack Exhaust System - Type 1 Engines (Not 1200cc)

Single glass pack “cherry bomb” style muffler with chrome tip exiting to the offside of the vehicle, Very loud but still road legal

Fits all 1300cc to 1600cc aircooled Type 1 engines

Fitting: Includes aluminium flex hose and installation kit

The header on these systems is off-set and not centered

Header Flange is at 1 o`clock position

Designed to be installed on the VW Beetle with the angle correct for the rear wing.

Can be installed on other VW models but the angle at which the muffler sits will not line up 100% with the rear bodywork.

NOTE: EMPI Headers and Mufflers are coated with a layer of paint which acts as a rust inhibitor and may burn off once they get hot.  It is best to clean off the coating with a good solvent then paint the system with quality hi-temp paint.  Systems are not warranted against rust.
