1835cc Thick Wall Barrel And Piston Kit - 92mm Bore Type 1 Engines

Complete set of Thick Wall 1835cc barrel and pistons designed as an upgrade to your Type 1 1300cc + 1600cc aircooled engine

They have an 92mm diameter piston which when used with the standard 69mm crankshaft fitted to all 1300cc to 1600cc engines it will give you 1835cc

These cylinders are a full 2mm thicker than standard 92mm cylinders. For people that want the ultimate cooling and strength in high performance applications.

Measurements: 92mm x 69mm 

These are designed for cases that have been machined for 90.5mm/92mm (1776cc + 1835cc) and cylinder heads that are 94mm (1914cc+)

Fitting: These pistons will require machine work to be carried out to both the crankcase and the cylinder heads in order to fit.  This work can be carried out by Cool Air, see part numbers MACHINEHEADS and MACHINECASE1 if required, please call with your requirements.

Used with a larger throw crankshaft the engine size will increase even more:

  • 69mm Crankshaft = 1835cc
  • 74mm Crankshaft = 1968cc
  • 78mm Crankshaft = 2074cc
  • 82mm Crankshaft = 2180cc
  • 84mm Crankshaft = 2234cc
  • 86mm Crankshaft = 2287cc
  • 88mm Crankshaft = 2340cc
  • 90mm Crankshaft = 2393cc
