1776cc Stroker Barrel And Piston Kit - 90.5mm Bore Type 1 Stroker Engines - Mahle Forged Pistons

Complete set of Mahle forged 1776cc stroker barrel and pistons designed as an upgrade to your Type 1 1300cc + 1600cc aircooled engine

Stroker barrel and piston sets are designed to make engine assembly easier when fitting larger stroke crankshafts.  By using this type of barrel not so many barrel spacers will be required when doing final set up of deck height and compression ratio.

They have an 90.5mm diameter piston which when used with the standard 69mm crankshaft fitted to all 1300cc to 1600cc engines it will give you 1776cc

Used with a larger throw crankshaft the engine size will increase even more:

  • 69mm Crankshaft = 1776cc
  • 74mm Crankshaft = 1904cc
  • 78mm Crankshaft = 2007cc
  • 82mm Crankshaft = 2110cc
  • 84mm Crankshaft = 2161cc
  • 86mm Crankshaft = 2213cc
  • 88mm Crankshaft = 2264cc
  • 90mm Crankshaft = 2316cc

Fitting: These pistons will require machine work to be carried out to both the crankcase and the cylinder heads in order to fit.  This work can be carried out by Cool Air, see part numbers MACHINEHEADS and MACHINECASE1 if required, please call with your requirements.
