This oil filler comes with a matching billet cap and has a barbed fitting to attach a breather filter or hose on.

The thread has a diameter of 32mm with a 1.5 pitch.

Will this be ok to replace my breather tower on my 1641 dual 40idf? Where does the hose go?

It can replace the breather tower. With Twin IDF carb's we would suggest attaching a piece of breather hose to the filler outlet and then feed the hose down through the tinware below the engine.
