T4 Speedo Cable (1430mm) - 1990-95 LHD Models Only

This one piece speedometer cable is 1430mm long and replaces the original two piece cable that Volkswagen fitted to all left Hand Drive VW T4 Transporters from the start of production in 1990 to December 1995.

Comes complete with exhaust heat shielding.

Fitting Information

To remove your original cable simply lower the fuse box cover lid and unclip the cable cfrom the back of the instrument cluster.  Pull the cable through the bulkhead and then unscrew the other end of the cable off of the pinion on the gearbox.

To fit the new cable simply re-route it through the original path.  You will note that the original bulkhead grommet that is attached to the cable is square whereas the one supplied on this replacement cable is round.  The round grommet will fit in position of where the square one was located although it will be tight and will require a little patience to fit.
