Hi. I recently purchased two rear light lenses for the 1972 - 1979 bay window buses..the fit great! I also ordered a pair of seals which you stated fit the bay window too (same model years), part number 411945235. Can I ask why they are an inch too short despite it being stated they fit?

These are used for Beetles with Elephant Foot Rear Lights (1974 onwards) and Baywindow Buses with the Tall rear Tail Lights (1972 Onwards). However for fitment on Baywindow Buses you will require two seals per tail light. So for in total if you are doing both tail lights. This is written in our description.
