Baywindow Bus Master Cylinder - 1971-79 Without Servo Brakes - ATE

Replacement ATE brake master cylinder for all Baywindow buses from 1971 to 1979 that do not have servo brakes fitted.

Supplied with brake light switch and grommets

Quality: ATE

Fitment: Manufactured for left hand drive buses, but can be fitted to right hand drive by modifying the inlet pipes to fit on the opposite side of the master cylinder

NOT for use with Splitscreen van CSP disc conversion kit, see part number 211611021AAFTE and 211611021AATRW

Tips: If you are changing you master cylinder, some or all of the brake pipes may need to be re-routed. This is due to the port layout being different on the new master cylinder. When planning your brake line routing, be sure to fit the brake switch `below` the master cylinder centre line. Otherwise air can be trapped in the system which will make it difficult to bleed the brakes.

It is also VERY important that the end play of the brake pedal pushrod is adjusted correctly. Follow the factory specifications of 1mm endplay. The pushrod can be adjusted using the thread and lock-nut on the pushrod shaft. For some applications you may have to cut the pushrod down in length.
