This upper dog house tin is a genuine Volkswagen part.

This tinware fits to the back of the fan shroud as an exhaust for the hot air once it has passed through the oil cooler all 1300cc and 1600cc Twin Port engines.

These engines were originally fitted in VW Beetles, Type 3 Variants including Squareback, Notchback and Fastback models, Karmann Ghia`s and Baywindow Buses.

Comes with a foam seal attached.

Your engine tinware is vital to the engines cooling.  Every piece of tinware should be fitted to your engine with minimal gaps between each piece.  Also make sure that the rubber or foam engine seals are in good condition and in the correct position.
