Camshaft Timing Gear - Type 1 + Waterboxer Engines

VW Aircooled engine crankshaft timing gear for all 1200cc to 1600cc Air-cooled VW engines.

This gear is loacted on the crankshaft of all aircooled engines.  It meshes into the gear on the end of the camshaft which then turns the cam.

There are marks on the face of this gear which must be lines up with the marks on the cam gear in order to corretcly time the opening and closing on the valves.
