Fitment: This is a plastic switch which has 6 spade terminals on the back of it. 4 large and 2 small

It was used on most Beetles and Karmann Ghias from August 1970 to July 1973 but not all.  Some basic models used a different type of switch

Fitting: If your switch is plastic and has spade terminals on the back of it and was built in the above year bracket then this will be the replacement you require
