Replacement bar that is located on top of the handbrake on all Beetles, Karmann Ghia`s and Type 3 Variants including Squareback, Notchback and Fastback models.
The two handbrake cables go through the two holes in this plate equalizing the cables out. This helps to apply equal pressure to both rear brake drums.
