Baywindow Bus Starter Motor - 1976-79 (Also fits Type 25 1979-81)

This starter motor is a direct replacement to the version fitted to all VW Baywindow Buses from 1975 to 1979 and all early Type 25 Buses from 1979 to 1981.

Fits engine code CT, CZ, CU & CV from chassis number 24A0000 001 to 24B093610

Fitting: 

When fitting this starter motor it is recommended that a new starter motor bush is also fitted.  We also stock this bush under part number 113301155.

Once this starter motor is fitted if you are still having issues then double check all of your wiring.  Most reported faults with new starter motors not working are installed are due to old wiring from the ignition switch producing low voltage at the start motor solenoid.  Check that all wires are in good order and all electrical terminals and connections are clean and dry.

If you are still having issues then we recommend fitting a hard start relay AC905351611.
