T25,T4,T5,G1 Thermostat (Opens At 75c)

Lower opening temperature engine thermostat for use on all Type 25 Buses with Diesel engines, T4 Transporters with 1.9 Diesel and 1.8 and 2.0 petrol engines and also T5 Transporters with 1.9 TDI engines.

Originally used in G40 and G60 applications as well as aftermarket performance engines.

The opening temperature of this thermostat is lower than standard for non-G40/G60 models at 75°C rather than 87°C.

Some people like to use a lower temperature thermostat and fan switch if their engine is a performance engine.

Use in conjunction with a lower temperature fan switch to keep engine temperatures down.
