Type 25 Starter Motor - 1982-92 - Waterboxer

This starter motor is a direct replacement to the version fitted to all Type 25 Buses from 1985 onwards with 1900cc and 2100cc engines

Fitment: For manual gearboxes only

When fitting this starter motor it is recommended that a new starter motor bush is also fitted.  We also stock this bush under part number 113301155.

Fitting: 

Once this starter motor is fitted if you are still having issues then double check all of your wiring.  Most reported faults with new starter motors not working are installed are due to old wiring from the ignition switch producing low voltage at the start motor solenoid.  Check that all wires are in good order and all electrical terminals and connections are clean and dry.

If you are still having issues then we recommend fitting a hard start relay AC905351611.
