This coolant level sensor is designed to accurately monitor coolant levels and prevent overheating in Volkswagen cooling systems. Featuring a 2-pin connector with 2x locating grooves and 2.8mm terminal pins, this sensor ensures a secure and reliable electrical connection.

Installation Notes:

1. Ensure the Engine is Cool: Avoid burns by letting the engine fully cool before replacing the sensor.
2. Drain Some Coolant (If Necessary): This prevents excessive coolant spillage.
3. Remove the Old Sensor: Disconnect the 2-pin connector, ensuring the locating grooves align with the new sensor.
4. Install the New Sensor: Insert the new sensor with the provided O-ring seal for a secure fit.
5. Reconnect and Test: Plug in the connector, top up coolant if necessary, and check for leaks before starting the engine.

Measurements: Expansion tank has 2 outlets, 34.8mm + 27.7mm.

Fitting: Supplied with a cap, but level sender is sold separately if required, see part number 251919372 for the “push on” connector type and 251919372A for the “clip on” connector type. 

Fits most models but whenever possible please check the part number on your existing reservoir.
