This oil pressure switch controls the warning light in the speedo notifying you when your oil pressure drops below ideal conditions.
This switch is located in the left hand side of the engine on all Type 1 engine crankcases just behind the distributor. On Type 4 engines fitted to late Baywindow Buses and Early Type 25 Buses this switch is located off of the edge of the oil cooler.
Also used on Mk1 Golf`s from the start of production to July 1978 with petrol engines.
This switch has a single 1 pin terminal on top which connects to the warning light and operates between 0.15 to 0.45 Bar. the switch has a tapered thread that screws into a M10x1mm thread.
