Mk1 Golf Gear Shift Linkages

Bearing at the base of the gear stick on mk1 Golf`s with either 4 speed or 5 speed manual gearboxes, also T3 or Type 25 with 12mm gear shifters

Front straight gear selector rod for use on all Mk1 Golf`s from December 1974 to July 1983.

140mm long with white ends.

For use on 4 speed manual gearboxes.

Gear shifter selector straight rod for use on all Mk1 Golf`s from August 1978 onwards with 5 speed gearboxes.

120mm long

Diagonal gearshift rod for use on all Mk1 Golf`s from February 1974 to February 1984 with 4 speed manual gearboxes.

Sealing washer located on the end of the front shift rod of all Type 25 Buses from the start of production to July 1982.

Also used as a seal which is located in the gear linkage between ball and socket type joints on Mk1 Golf`s

Gearbox linkage bush kit for use on all Mk1 Golf`s with manual gearboxes.

Used to repair worn linkages.

Gear Lever Bush kit including ball for use on Mk1 Golf`s, Mk2 Golf`s, Mk3 Golf`s, Mk2 Polo`s, Mk1 Scirocco`s, Mk2 Scirocco`s and Mk3 Polo`s.

Clamp for the gear linkage on all Type 25 Buses, T4 Transporters and Mark 1 Golf`s with 4 speed manual gearboxes.

Clamps the centre selector rod to the rear selector rod.

Requires an M8x40mm long bolt with nut (Sold Separately).

Pressure spring located under the gear stick on T4 Transporters and Mk1 Golf`s with manual transmissions.

Used to give tension on the gear lever which is compressed when you wish to select reverse gear.

Gearshift coupling screw that attaches the gearshift coupling to the gearshift rod on all aircooled VW`s except Type 25 Buses.

Also used on Mk1 Golf`s in the bottom of the shift finger to attach it to the selector rod guide. 

Inlcudes a hole in the square end for fitting a retaining wire.
